The Florida Hospital Institute for Lifestyle Medicine (FHILM) blends the resources from America’s largest hospital with the leading research team in the world in the area of Lifestyle Medicine to provide leadership in clinical services, research and education in the interface between lifestyle and health. We call this new field of medicine “Lifestyle Medicine.”

The FHILM is a multidisciplinary, collaborative effort designed to combine the talents and abilities of physicians, senior administrators, other healthcare workers, researchers and health educators to combat the diseases of the 21st Century.

The FHILM brings together in one organization world class clinical services, and a strong commitment to education. Included in the FHILM are a leading executive health assessment program (Rippe Health Assessment at Florida Hospital Celebration Health), a 60,000 square foot medically orientated fitness facility, the clinical facilities of Florida Hospital and a long and distinguished research background in collaboration with investigators through researchers from the University of Central Florida and other collaborating partners.

The components of the FHILM have been brought together with the vision that multi disciplinary approaches are necessary in order to solve the major health issues of the 21st Century. The FHILM is committed to providing clinical services, research and education in how daily habits and actions impact on both short and long term health and quality of life.
