I don’t know if you’ve heard, but New York City has a *few* museums. You know, ones that showcase Picasso, Warhol, Monet…nobigdeal. We almost feel spoiled here in NYC, surrounded by all of this mind-blowing, important, famous and intriguing art just a few subway stops away from our doorstep.
We were particularly impressed with The Metropolitan Museum of Art, which has a staggering collection of pieces from every time period and region around the world. We spent a full day there and only got through a third of what there is to see. Methinks we will have to make another trip before we leave (And with a “pay what you want” ticket price, we’d have to be crazy not to!).
For those of you who have been, what areas are your favorites? And, if we go back to the Met, what should we be sure to see the next time around?
