Giving Thanks on Thanksgiving

The year isn’t over, but it’s the time for thanks and giving. I’m thankful for so many things in 2013.

First off my mother and father for being so supportive of all the things I do personally and for giving me life. They came to visit for 10 days in January and although we had some strange moments it was still nice to spend some quality time with both my parents. We took my father to Universal Studios Islands of Adventure for his birth day. He was so happy we got to ride the Caro-Seuss-el and the Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey rides. My mother, made us a beautiful quilt for us. It’s been beyond wonderful to have something hand made and so comfy in this cold Florida weather lately. When I’m bundled up in it I feel like I’m being hugged by my mom.

My Sister, brother-in-law, and her children. I can only hope to have a family as warm, loving, and so supportive of each other. You all work so hard for each other and for those you come in contact with. I’m blessed to have you all in my life.

I’m thankful that my grandfather and grandmother are still around to see the person I’ve become. A lot of people don’t know this but in 1996 I was on a path down the wrong road. My grandfather wrote me a letter telling me how disappointed he was in the person I was becoming. I’m thankful for that letter he wrote and the time he took to write it. It changed my perception on what was really important in life. Sometimes people don’t think the words they say can change something or someone. Trust me they do and I’m thankful for that.

I’m so thankful to have such amazing in-laws. My wife’s family is beyond awesome! Her mother and father are such inspiring people. Her brother and sister-in-law are also two people that make me smile and give me joy to be around.

My friends are some of the best anyone could have. Although I may not see all of them as much as I would like I know that any one of them would be there in a heart beat for me. You are all amazing and I’m glad to have you in my life.

To my clients, you are more than clients to me. You are friends that allow me to do what I love for a living. You keep me focused on goals and push me to push you. I’m beyond thankful for all that you allow me to do for you every day of my life.

And of course last, but not least by any means. My wife, Shannon you have made my life better every day since I met you. I have been blessed with someone that has changed me and inspires me to want to be the best person I can be. You see through the clutter that is me. You know deep down exactly who I am and push me to be even better than I was before.

Thank you to everyone and everything that has been in my life up to this moment.
