Physical activity is a prime component of the First Lady’s campaign to combat childhood obesity. Since Baby Goes Pro’s mission is to “inspire a generation to move”, the pairing between both of these powerhouses was a natural one. WHOISCARRUS helped them connect at one of the most exciting events of the year, the White House Easter Egg Roll.
Every year, the White House opens its South Lawn to 36,000 lucky kids and their families for the annual Easter Egg Roll. WHOISCARRUS and Baby Goes Pro were privileged to be a part of 2010’s event, which had the theme “Ready, Set, Go!”. The event featured storytelling, live music, and games with appearances by J.K. Rowling, Justin Bieber and the Commander-In-Chief himself. Most exciting, the Easter Egg Roll had an ” Explore the Moves Sports and Obstacle Course”, which was hosted by none other than Baby Goes Pro.
WHOISCARRUS helped Baby Goes Pro present their mission to the White House, assembling and designing the proposal that would ultimately win them the privilege of hosting the ” Explore the Moves Sports and Obstacle Course” during the event.
Gigi Fernandez and Emkei made a cameo on the Today Show with Al Roker. This resulted in valuable national coverage that saved more than $50,000 in ad costs and brought Baby Goes Pro into more than 4.5 million households. Now that’s what we call a successful day!
